Gary Aldwyn Wayland

Gary Aldwyn Wayland, 69 of Pomeroy died
unexpectedly Sunday October 29, 2006 at Holzer
Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio.  He was
born October 8, 1937 in Syracuse, Ohio the son
of the late Jennings Bryan and Edna Marguerite
Eichinger Wayland.  Gary retired form the
Railroad where he worked as a conductor.  He
was an Army veteran serving from 1955 to 1958,
a member of the Bradford Church of Christ and
the United Transportation Workers.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by
a daughter Lisa Ann Wayland and a brother
Jennings Bryan Wayland Jr.

Surviving are his wife Sonja Sue Hendricks
Wayland of Pomeroy; Sons Michael Bryan (Carla)
Wayland of Geneva, Ohio, Jeffrey Alan (Debbie)
Wayland of Pomeroy.  Grandchildren: Brenton
Michael Wayland, Colin Matthew Wayland, Stephen
Edward Ferris, Jeremy Tyler Wayland and Morgan
Nichole Wayland. Brother; Ira Milton (Carlyn)
Wayland of Big Prairie, Ohio.   Several Nieces
and Nephews

Services will be held 11:00a.m. Wednesday
November 1, 2006, at the Middleport Chapel of
Fisher Funeral Home.  Rev. Doug Shamblin will
officiate. Burial will follow at Meigs Memorial
Gardens in Pomeroy.  Friends may call on
Tuesday Evening from 6-8p.m. at the funeral

Memorial contributions may be made to the

for heart transplant families.
