   Janet Workman Needs, age 91, of New Haven, WV, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018.  She was born August 15, 1926 in Ceredo, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Jay and Mamie (Thompson) Workman.
   Janet was a 1944 graduate of Spencer High School and a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Pomeroy where she taught Sunday school for many years.
   Janet is survived by her son Jeff (Sandy) Needs, Pomeroy, OH and daughter Judy (Norman) Smith, Norfolk, VA; grandchildren Randi (David) Kimes, Kevin (Krystal) Raban, Dana (Tracey) Raban, Jason (Lesley) Riley, Jamin (Victoria) Riley, Scott Needs, Evan (Rachael) Needs; great-grandchildren Kyle and Zak Kimes, Peyton Raban, Matilda and Graham Riley, Hunter and Jay Needs; brothers John (Betty) Workman, Spencer, WV and Fred (Edie) Workman, Falmouth, KY; sister Frances (Robert) Knapp, Barboursville, WV and a special aunt, Wilma Hilton, Ceredo, WV.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Needs, a daughter, Jackie Raban, a sister, Sara Evelyn LaBombard, and a brother, Robert Workman.
   Funeral services will be Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Anderson Funeral Home in New Haven with Pastor David Brainard officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, New Haven.
