Enid Laverne Layne Adams

   Enid Laverne Layne Adams, 87, of New Haven, WV passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017. She left us peacefully.
She was a lifetime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, New Haven, WV. She worked as a bank teller for Mason County Bank for many years. She was also a member of the Neheclima Garden Club in New Haven, WV, and she was a supporter of many community activities in the town she grew up in. She attended Marshall College and was loved by all who knew her. She had a wonderful smile which she shared with everyone.
   She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Norene Layne, and her husband, Carroll M. Adams, Jr.
   She is survived by her son, Bruce L. Adams and her daughter-in- law, Marjorie J. Adams of New Haven, WV, her grandchildren Michael Adams of Austin, TX, Lori (Willie) Anderson of Huntington, WV, Joshua Aamodt of Round Rock, TX, Tera Govina of New Haven, WV, John Sanders-Aamodt of Washington State, great- grandchildren Chianti Littlejohn, Amari Felder, Austin Adams, Kaylee and Alexis Powell, Eric and Elijah Aamodt, Radiance Anderson and Walli Blake Govina. She leaves behind many wonderful people in the town who knew her.
   Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 12:00pm at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in New Haven.  Burial will follow in the Kirkland Cemetery.  Visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral service at the church.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Anderson Funeral Home of New Haven, WV.
