   Nelson Richard Roush, 89, of New Haven, West Virginia passed away on November 14, 2016.  He was born on February 1, 1929 in New Haven son of the late Grant and Thelma Roush.
   Mr. Roush served in the Army during World War II and was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 140 and the VFW Post 9926.  He was a member of the Bachtel United Methodist Church.  He retired from AEP.
   He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Charlotte J. Roush; his sons, Ronnie (Jan "Burns") Roush and Randy (Merri "Ebersbach") Roush; his grandchildren, Heather (PJ Gibbs) Roush, Nikki (Matt) Fields, Lindsay Thomas and Brad (Kaitlyn Zerkle) Roush; great grandchildren, Isaac, Mattilyn, Carson, Olivia, Haleigh, Braydin, Aubrey, Landon and Avery; brothers, Robert (Louise) Roush, Gary (Theresa) Roush, Glen (Barbara) Roush and Eldon (Barbara) Roush; and many nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 2:00pm with Pastor Jason Simpkins officiating at Anderson Funeral Home in New Haven.  Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Cemetery where military honors will be presented by the American Legion and the VFW.  Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at the funeral home.
