Paul Thomas Imboden

   PAUL THOMAS IMBODEN, 68, died unexpectedly April 30, 2021. He was born December 9, 1952 in Minersville, Ohio, the son of Oscar and Myrtle (Martin) Imboden. Paul graduated from Central High School, Class of 1971. Following graduation, he proudly joined The United States Air Force and dedicated four years of service during The Vietnam War. Shortly after discharge from the service, he met and married his one and only true love, Gale. They recently celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary.
   In 1982, Paul followed God’s call and served the Church of the Nazarene at congregations in: Proctorville, Ohio; Cleveland, Ohio; Richmond Heights, Ohio; and Corry, Pennsylvania. In retirement and prior to his passing, he had the privilege of pastoring at Little Kyger Congregational Christian Church in Cheshire, Ohio.
Paul enjoyed all aspects of life but what brought him some of the most joy, was being God’s servant leader, riding his motorcycle on the open road, his dog Oreo by his side, his congregation, family and friends, his children, grandchildren and laughing with his bride, Gale.
   In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter Cynthia Dawn, sister Rosemary and four brothers, Skip, Oscar Jr., Lou and Albert.
   Surviving, in addition to his wife Gale (Bass) Imboden, daughter Karen Mann, her husband Mike Mann, son Adam Davison, his wife Nikki Davison, eight grandsons: Jakob, Nick, Jackson, Nathan, John, Alex, Logan and Wyatt, sister Linda Roe, brothers Rodger Imboden, Jim Imboden and Randy Imboden.
   A celebration of Paul’s life will be held on Sunday May 16, 2021 at 2:00 P.M.
